ARMA provides education, products, research, regulatory review and services to further enhance Records and Information Management (RIM) and Information Governance (IG) careers and the profession. By joining the Greater Columbus Chapter, you get to know others in the area who work in your field. The Columbus Chapter meets several times a year. Educational Opportunities: ARMA sponsors an annual International Conference and Expo (ARMA InfoCon), that includes multiple tracks at different levels, educational sessions, and a vendor exhibit hall with demonstrations of products and services. They also sponsor ARMA InfoNEXT, which is a more executive-level and strategy focused conference. Members can save as much as 20% on conference fees. ARMA also has an online learning management system that has on-demand webinars, as well as certificate courses. Members can also receive a discount on the Information Governance Professional certification.
Publications: Members receive online access to the ARMA Magazine, filled with articles and information about RIM and IG. The ARMA site also has research, industry whitepapers and technical reports.
Networking: One of the greatest benefits is finding and getting to know RIM and IG colleagues locally and nationally.
