ARMA International is beginning work on the Information Governance Implementation Model (IGIM) 3.0.
This update will build on IGIM 2.1 and reflect changes in technology, organizational practices, and the evolving information governance landscape.
Volunteers will contribute expertise, perspective, and practical experience to help ensure the IGIM remains relevant, usable, and aligned with real-world programs across industries.
The IGIM 3.0 update may include work in one or more of the following areas:

Revisiting and revising the overall model (domains, structure, terminology, and visual representation)

Revisiting, revising, and/or adding sub-domains

Drafting supporting content for each sub-domain (descriptions, intent, examples, etc.)

Revising existing top-level domain content as needed
Volunteers may contribute to discussion, drafting, review, or validation activities depending on interest and availability.
