ARMA Award of Excellence for an Organization Award
This award recognizes the achievements that an organization has made in the implementation or enhancement of a records and information management (RIM) or an information governance (IG) program as laid out by the Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles and the Maturity Model.

Chapters Luminary Award
This award recognizes chapters that have inspired or influenced others by fulfilling their obligations in an outstanding manner and have a chapter of the highest quality and excellence.

Standing Ovation Award
This award recognizes the accomplishments of any chapter or individual that has taken an outstanding or unique approach to furthering ARMA International’s vision and mission, the “who we are” of ARMA International, by enhancing the RIM or IG profession.

AWARDS FOR AN INDIVIDUAL
Britt Literary Award
The Britt Literary Award was instituted in 1967 in memory of John F. X. Britt, one of the early pioneers in the modern records and information management profession. The award is given to the author(s) of the best “feature” article appearing in the ARMA magazine during the award year being considered (July 1 to June 30). Distinguished Service Award
This award recognizes long-time ARMA members who have clearly given of themselves to the work of the association and the fulfillment of its goals at the local, regional, and international levels. It focuses on a pattern of contribution at a high level to the success, well-being, and advancement of ARMA International.

Emerging Professional of the Year Award
This award recognizes outstanding ARMA International Professional members in good standing who have 5 years or less of experience in the industry. This award recognizes their participation in the RIM and information governance (IG) profession.

The Company of Fellows
The Fellow of ARMA International (FAI) award honors members of ARMA International who have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievements and contributions in RIM and Information Governance, as well as through noteworthy accomplishments in various levels of the association. To be considered, individuals must be ARMA International members of 10 or more years in good standing and have a positive reputation in ethics, professional responsibility, and professional standards.
